Aruvikuzhi waterfall

Aruvikuzhi waterfall: Paradise to Aruvikuzhi waterfall is 32.2 km, which is active during monsoon. It is a beautiful picnic spot and ideal location for movies. A mud path from Kumarakom leads to Aruvikuzhi waterfalls. At the end of 2km trail is waterfalls surrounded by rubber plantations.




Bay Island Driftwood Museum

Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays a unique collection of superior quality driftwood sculptures of very high artistic value, prepared through a rare and innovative modern art form. The Museum is located at the scenic village of Kumarakom. A visitor would find there a huge collection of root sculptures of various shapes and designs. The admirers and connoisseurs of this rare and innovative form of art frequent the Bay Island Driftwood Museum. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is situated in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Bird Sanctuary is set in the Kerala Backwaters is a favourite haunt of migratory birds. The sanctuary was formerly known as Baker’s Estate. Currently, the bird sanctuary is managed by Kerala Tourism Development Corporation. The main attractions are local birds and the migratory birds like Wildfowl, Cuckoo, Owl, Egret, Heron, Cormorant, Moorhen, Darter, and Brahminy kite, as well as the migratory Siberian Crane, Parrot, Teal, Lark, Flycatcher, and other birds are seen here during their respective migratory seasons. Some of the migratory birds come from the Himalayas, and a few from Siberia.




Illickal Hill Station

Illickal hill station: 67.5 km from PARADISE is the mushroom and hunch back shaped hills. With the rare medicinal plant neelakoduveli, and panoramic views are the attraction. There is also the bridge to hell |(naragapallam), half feet wide passage aptly named. It’s a drag up the hills about 3km, fresh air scenic views and total privacy are up for goals.
